Musnad Ahmad 430:9

Yunus ibn Muhammad narrated to us, he said: 'Abd al-Wahid narrated to us, he said: 'Asim al-Ahwal narrated to us, from al-Fudayl ibn Zayd al-Raqashi, who said: We were with 'Abd Allah ibn Mughaffal, and we discussed drinks. He said: "Wine is forbidden." I said to him: "Wine is forbidden in the Book of Allah, the Almighty and Majestic." He said: "So what do you want? Do you want what I heard from the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him?" I heard the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, "forbidding the *duba* (gourd), the *hantam* (green jars), and the *muzaffat* (pitch-coated vessels)." He said: I said: "What is the *hantam*?" He said: "Every green and white [vessel]." He said: I said: "What is the *muzaffat*?" He said: "Every pitch-coated [vessel], whether it is a skin or otherwise."
