Musnad Ahmad 834:19

'Affan narrated to us, Shu'bah narrated to us, Abu Iyas said: He informed us, he said: I heard 'Abdullah ibn Mughaffal say: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was on his she-camel on the day of the conquest of Makkah, and he recited Surah al-Fath. He said: Then Abu Iyas recited it, then he repeated it, and he said: "Were it not that the people would gather around me, I would have recited it with this melody."
