Hadith 999:3
Ali ibn Ishaq narrated to us, Ibn al-Mubarak informed us, Abd al-Rahman ibn Yazid ibn Jabir narrated to us, he said: Sa'id ibn Abi Sa'id narrated to me, from one who heard the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, saying: "Behold, the borrowed item must be returned, the gift (of usufruct) must be restored, the debt must be paid, and the guarantor is liable."
حدثنا علي بن إسحاق، أخبرنا ابن المبارك، حدثنا عبد الرحمن بن يزيد بن جابر قال: حدثني سعيد بن أبي سعيد، عمن سمع النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم يقول: " ألا إن العارية مؤداة، والمنحة مردودة، والدين مقضي والزعيم غارم " . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
