Musnad Ahmad 1098:6

I read to Abd al-Rahman: Malik, from Yazid ibn Abdullah ibn al-Had, from Muhammad ibn Ibrahim ibn al-Harith al-Taymi, from Abu Salamah ibn Abd al-Rahman, from Abu Hurayrah, who said: Then I met Abdullah ibn Salam and mentioned the hadith. Then Abdullah ibn Salam said: "I know which hour it is." Abu Hurayrah said: I said to him: "Inform me, and do not withhold it from me." Abdullah said: "It is the last hour of the day of Friday." Abu Hurayrah said: "How can it be the last hour of the day of Friday, when the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: 'A Muslim servant does not encounter it while praying, and that is an hour in which prayer is not performed'?" Abdullah ibn Salam said: "Did the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) not say: 'Whoever sits in a place waiting for the prayer, he is in a state of prayer until he prays'?" I said: "Yes." He said: "Then that is it."
