Hadith 903:7
Abu Mu’awiyah narrated to us, ‘Asim al-Ahwal narrated to us, from ‘Abdullah ibn Sarjis—and ‘Asim said: He had seen the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace—that when the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, would set out on a journey, he would say: "O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the hardships of travel, the gloom of returning, deficiency after abundance, the supplication of the oppressed, and a bad sight in wealth and family." And when he returned, he would say the same, except that he would say: "And a bad sight in family and wealth," beginning with the family.
حدثنا أبو معاوية، حدثنا عاصم الأحول، عن عبد الله بن سرجس، قال عاصم: وقد كان رأى النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم، كان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم إذا خرج في سفر قال: " اللهم إني أعوذ بك من وعثاء السفر، وكآبة المنقلب، والحور بعد الكور، ودعوة المظلوم، وسوء المنظر في المال والأهل "، وإذا رجع قال مثلها، إلا أنه يقول: " وسوء المنظر في الأهل والمال " يبدأ بالأهل
