حديث عبد الله بن زيد بن عاصم المازني (1) وكانت له صحبة
Hadith 329:34
Mu'ammal narrated to us, he said: Wuhayb narrated to us, he said: 'Amr ibn Yahya narrated to us, from his father, who said: It was said to 'Abdullah ibn Zayd on the Day of al-Harrah: "Come to Ibn Hanzalah, for the people are pledging allegiance." He said: "Upon what are they pledging allegiance to him?" They said: "Upon death." He said: "I will not pledge allegiance to anyone upon that after the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace."
حدثنا مؤمل، قال: حدثنا وهيب، قال: حدثنا عمرو بن يحيى، عن أبيه قال: قيل لعبد الله بن زيد يوم الحرة: هلم إلى ابن حنظلة يبايع الناس، قال: علام يبايعهم؟ قالوا: على الموت، قال: " لا أبايع عليه أحدا بعد رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم "
