Musnad Ahmad 284:13

'Arim narrated to us, he said: 'Abdullah ibn al-Mubarak narrated to us, he said: Mus'ab ibn Thabit narrated to us, he said: 'Amir ibn 'Abdullah ibn al-Zubayr narrated to us, from his father, who said: Qutaylah bint 'Abd al-'Uzza ibn 'Abd As'ad, from the tribe of Banu Malik ibn Hisl, came to her daughter, Asma bint Abi Bakr, with gifts: lizards, qarat (acacia pods used for tanning), and ghee, while she was a polytheist. Asma refused to accept her gift or let her enter her house. She (Asma) asked 'Aishah about the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, so Allah the Almighty and Majestic revealed: "Allah does not forbid you from those who do not fight you because of religion" [al-Mumtahanah: 8] to the end of the verse. So he commanded her to accept her gift and to let her enter her house.
