Musnad Ahmad 284:18

Hashim ibn al-Qasim narrated to us, he said: Layth ibn Sa’d narrated to us, he said: And Ibn Shihab narrated to me, from ‘Urwah ibn al-Zubayr, from ‘Abdullah ibn al-Zubayr, he said: A man from the Ansar disputed with al-Zubayr before the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, regarding the channels of the Harrah (lava field) with which they irrigated the palm trees. The Ansari said to al-Zubayr: "Let the water flow," but he refused. So they spoke to the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him. The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said: "Irrigate, O Zubayr, then send the water to your neighbor." The Ansari became angry and said: "O Messenger of Allah, is it because he is the son of your paternal aunt?" The face of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, changed color, then he said: "Hold the water until it reaches the walls." Al-Zubayr said: By Allah, I believe this verse was revealed regarding that: "But no, by your Lord, they will not [truly] believe until they make you, [O Muhammad], judge concerning that over which they dispute among themselves" [An-Nisa: 65], up to His saying: "and submit in [full, willing] submission" [An-Nisa: 65].
