Hadith 284:21
Aswad ibn Amir narrated to us, he said: Isra'il narrated to us, he said: Thuwair narrated to us, he said: I heard Ibn al-Zubayr saying: "This is the day of Ashura, so fast it, for the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said: 'Fast it.'"
حدثنا أسود بن عامر، قال: حدثنا إسرائيل، قال: حدثنا ثوير، قال: سمعت ابن الزبير، يقول: هذا يوم عاشوراء فصوموه، فإن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: " صوموه "
