Isma'il narrated to us, Habib ibn al-Shahid informed us, from 'Abdullah ibn Abi Mulaykah, who said: 'Abdullah ibn Ja'far said to Ibn al-Zubayr: "Do you remember when we met the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace—I, you, and Ibn 'Abbas?" He said: "Yes." He said: "So he carried us and left you." And Isma'il said once: "Do you remember when we met the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace—I, you, and Ibn 'Abbas?" He said: "Yes, so he carried us and left you."
