Musnad Ahmad 20:21

'Abd al-Samad narrated to us, Hammad ibn Salamah narrated to us, from Ibn Abi Rafi', from 'Abdullah ibn Ja'far, that he married his daughter to al-Hajjaj ibn Yusuf. He said to her: "When he enters upon you, say: 'There is no god but Allah, the Forbearing, the Generous. Glory be to Allah, Lord of the Great Throne. Praise be to Allah, Lord of the Worlds.'" And he claimed that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, used to say this when a matter distressed him. Hammad said: I think he said: "So he did not reach her."
