Sufyan narrated to us, from al-Zuhri, from Abdullah ibn Tha'labah ibn Abi Sa'ir—and Ma'mar confirmed it to me—that the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, looked over the martyrs of Uhud and said: "I bear witness for these. Wrap them in their wounds and their blood."
