Musnad Ahmad 1077:5

Yazid narrated to us, Muhammad—meaning Ibn Ishaq—informed us, al-Zuhri narrated to me, from Abdullah ibn Tha'labah ibn Su'ayr, that Abu Jahl said when the people met [in battle]: "O Allah, he has severed our kinship ties and brought us what we do not recognize, so destroy him this morning." Thus, he was the one who invoked [the judgment].
