Hadith of Abu Abd al-Rahman Safinah, the freed slave of the Messenger of Allah (SAW).
حديث أبي عبد الرحمن سفينة مولى رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم
Hadith 949:2
Waki’ narrated to us, from ‘Ali—meaning Ibn al-Mubarak—from Yahya, from Safinah: That a man slaughtered his she-camel with a piece of wood, so he asked the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, and he commanded them to eat it.
حدثنا وكيع، عن علي يعني ابن مبارك، عن يحيى، عن سفينة: أن رجلا أشاط ناقته بجذل فسأل النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم " فأمرهم بأكلها "
