Musnad Ahmad 949:8

'Affan narrated to us, Hammad ibn Salamah narrated to us, Sa'id ibn Jumhan narrated to us, Safinah Abu 'Abd al-Rahman narrated that a man invited 'Ali ibn Abi Talib, so he prepared food for him. Fatimah said: "If only we had invited the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace." She mentioned something similar to the hadith of Abu Kamil. So they invited him, and he came. He placed his hand on the doorposts of the door, then he saw a decorated curtain in a corner of the house, so he turned back. Fatimah said to 'Ali: "Follow him and say to him: 'What made you turn back, O Messenger of Allah?'" He said: "It is not for me to enter a decorated house."
