Musnad Ahmad 470:2

Yazid narrated to us, Sharik ibn Abdullah informed us, from Abu Ishaq, from Abu al-Ahwas, from his father, who said: I came to the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, while I was wearing a worn-out garment or two worn-out garments. He said to me, "Do you have any wealth?" I said, "Yes, Allah the Almighty and Majestic has given me of every kind of wealth: horses, camels, sheep, and slaves." He said, "If Allah has given you wealth, then let the effect of His blessing be seen upon you." So I went to him wearing a fine garment.
