Musnad Ahmad 803:1

Dāwūd ibn ‘Amr al-Ḍabbī narrated to us, ‘Alī ibn Hāshim—meaning Ibn al-Barīd—narrated to us, from Abū Bishr al-Ḥalabī, from Abū Mulayḥ ibn Usāmah, from his father, who said: The people were struck by rain on a Friday. The Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, gave an order, and it was announced: "The prayer today," or "The Friday [prayer] today, is in the dwellings."
