Musnad Ahmad 659:1

Ziyad ibn Abdullah al-Bakkai narrated to us, he said: Mansur and al-A’mash narrated to us, from Ibrahim, from al-Aswad, from Abu al-Sanabil, who said: Subay’ah gave birth twenty-three or twenty-five nights after the death of her husband. So she adorned herself. Then she came to the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, and informed him. He said: "If she does that, her term has passed."
