Musnad Ahmad 1099:15

Ya'mar ibn Bishr narrated to us, Abdullah—meaning Ibn al-Mubarak—narrated to us, Ubaydullah ibn Abi Ziyad narrated to us, he said: I heard Abu al-Tufayl saying: "Indeed, the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, performed *ramal* (a brisk, short-stepped walk) for three [circuits] from the Corner to the Corner."
