Thabit ibn al-Walid ibn Abdullah ibn Jami' narrated to us, my father narrated to me, he said: Abu al-Tufayl said to me: "I lived through eight years of the life of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, and I was born in the year of Uhud."
