Hadith of Abu Ayyash al-Zuraqi (RA)

Hadith 341:4

Hassan ibn Musa narrated to us, he said: Hammad ibn Salamah narrated to us, from Suhayl ibn Abi Salih, from his father, from Abu Ayyash, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Whoever says when he reaches the morning: 'There is no god but Allah alone, He has no partner, to Him belongs the dominion, and to Him belongs the praise, and He is capable of all things,' it is for him equivalent to the freeing of a slave from the children of Ishmael. Ten good deeds are written for him because of it, ten evil deeds are removed from him because of it, he is raised ten degrees because of it, and he is in a sanctuary from Satan until he reaches the evening. And if he says it when he reaches the evening, it is the same until he reaches the morning." He said: A man saw the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) in what a sleeper sees, and he said: "O Messenger of Allah, Abu Ayyash narrates from you such and such." He said: "Abu Ayyash spoke the truth."
