Musnad Ahmad 1060:70

'Attab ibn Ziyad narrated to us, 'Abdullah narrated to us, 'Abdullah ibn Lahi'ah informed us, Yazid ibn Abi Habib narrated to me, that Aslam Abu 'Imran al-Tujibi narrated to him that he heard Abu Ayyub al-Ansari saying: We formed ranks on the day of Badr, and a group of us rushed ahead of the rank. The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, looked at them and said: "With me, with me." And Mu'ammar said likewise: A group of us rushed ahead, and he said: We formed ranks on the day of Badr.
