Musnad Ahmad 1060:99

Hassan narrated to us, Ibn Lahi'ah narrated to us, al-Walid ibn Abi al-Walid narrated to us, from Ayyub ibn Khalid ibn Abi Ayyub al-Ansari, who narrated to him from his father, from his grandfather Abu Ayyub al-Ansari, the companion of the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, that the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said to him: "Conceal the proposal, then perform ablution and perfect your ablution, and pray what Allah has written for you. Then praise your Lord and glorify Him, then say: 'O Allah, You have the power and I do not have the power, and You know and I do not know, You are the Knower of the unseen. If You see that [so-and-so]—naming her by her name—is good for me in my religion, my worldly life, and my hereafter, then decree her for me.' Or he said: 'Then ordain her for me.'"
