Musnad Ahmad 830:137

Abu Bakrah said: The Prophet of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said: "Do you see, if Aslam and Ghifar were better than Asad and Ghatafan, do you think they would be losers?" They said: "Yes." He said: "Then they are better than them." Then he said: "Do you see, if Juhaynah and Muzaynah were better than the two allies: Tamim and Amir ibn Sa'sa'ah?"—and the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, raised his voice with it—"Do you think they would be losers?" They said: "Yes." He said: "Then they are better than them."
