Musnad Ahmad 830:4

Waki' narrated to us, 'Uyaynah narrated to us, from his father, from Abu Bakrah, who said: I heard the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, saying: "Seek it in the last ten [nights], when nine remain, or when seven remain, or five, or three, or the last night."
