Musnad Ahmad 830:58

Abu ‘Amir narrated to us, ‘Abd al-Jalil narrated to us, Ja‘far ibn Maymun narrated to me, ‘Abd al-Rahman ibn Abi Bakrah narrated to me, that he said to his father: "O my father, I hear you supplicating every morning: 'O Allah, grant me well-being in my body; O Allah, grant me well-being in my hearing; O Allah, grant me well-being in my sight; there is no god but You,' you repeat it three times when you reach the morning, and three times when you reach the evening." And you say: "O Allah, I seek refuge in You from disbelief and poverty; O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the punishment of the grave; there is no god but You," you repeat it when you reach the morning three times, and three times when you reach the evening. He said: "Yes, my son. I heard the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, supplicating with them, so I like to follow his Sunnah." He said: And the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said: "The supplications of the distressed are: 'O Allah, I hope for Your mercy, so do not entrust me to myself for the blinking of an eye; rectify for me all of my affairs; there is no god but You.'"
