Mu'ammal ibn Isma'il narrated to us, Hammad ibn Zayd narrated to us, al-Mu'alla ibn Ziyad, Yunus, Ayyub, and Hisham narrated to us, from al-Hasan, from al-Ahnaf, from Abu Bakrah, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "If two Muslims face each other with their swords, and one of them kills his companion, then the killer and the killed are in the Fire." It was said: "This is the killer, but what is the matter with the killed?" He said: "He had intended to kill his companion." *** 'Affan narrated to us, Sa'id ibn Zayd narrated to us, he said: I heard Abu Sulayman al-'Asri, 'Uqbah ibn Sahban narrated to us, he said: I heard Abu Bakrah, from the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) who said: "People will be carried upon the Bridge (al-Sirat) on the Day of Resurrection, and the two sides of the Bridge will cause them to fall, like the falling of moths into the Fire." He said: "Then Allah will save whom He wills by His mercy." He said: "Then permission will be granted to the angels, the prophets, and the martyrs to intercede, so they will intercede and bring out [people], and they will intercede and bring out [people], and they will intercede and bring out [people]." 'Affan added once, and he also said: "And they will intercede and bring out whoever had in his heart the weight of an atom of faith."
