Musnad Ahmad 789:13

Hajjaj narrated to us, Shu'bah informed us, from Abu Hamzah, their neighbor, who said: I heard Humayd ibn Hilal narrating from Abdullah ibn Mutarrif, from Abu Barzah, who said: "The most hated of people, or the most hated of the living to the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, were Thaqif and Banu Hanifah."
