Hadith of Abu Basrah al-Ghifari (RA)
Hadith 1237:8
Hajjaj and Yunus narrated to us, they said: Al-Layth narrated to us, he said: Yazid ibn Abi Habib narrated to me, from Abu al-Khayr, from Mansur al-Kalbi, from Dihyah ibn Khalifah, that he went out from his village to a place near the village of Uqbah during Ramadan. Then he broke his fast, and some people broke their fast with him, while others disliked breaking their fast. He said: When he returned to his village, he said: "By Allah, I have seen today a matter I did not think I would see; a people who have turned away from the guidance of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, and his companions." He was saying that to those who had fasted. Then he said at that time: "O Allah, take my soul to You."
