Hadith 940:14
Yahya ibn Sa'id narrated to us, from Shu'bah, Qatadah narrated to us, from Salim ibn Abi al-Ja'd, from Ma'dan, from Abu al-Darda', from the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, who said: "Does one of you find it difficult to recite a third of the Qur'an in a night?" They said: "How can one endure that?" or "Who can endure that?" He said: "'Say, He is Allah, [who is] One' (Qul Huwa Allahu Ahad)."
حدثنا يحيى بن سعيد، عن شعبة، حدثنا قتادة، عن سالم بن أبي الجعد، عن معدان، عن أبي الدرداء، عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: " أيعجب أحدكم أن يقرأ ثلث القرآن في ليلة " قالوا: كيف يطيق ذلك، أو من يطيق ذلك،؟ قال: " قل هو الله أحد "
