Hadith of Abu Darda (RA)

Hadith 940:30

'Abd al-Rahman narrated to us, Hammam narrated to us, from Qatadah, from Khulayd al-'Asari, from Abu al-Darda', who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Never has the sun risen but that two angels are sent at its sides, calling out—and the inhabitants of the earth hear them, except for the two heavy ones (jinn and mankind): 'O people, come to your Lord, for that which is little and sufficient is better than that which is much and distracts.' And never has the sun set but that two angels are sent at its sides, calling out—and the inhabitants of the earth hear them, except for the two heavy ones: 'O Allah, grant the one who spends a successor (recompense), and grant the one who withholds destruction of wealth.'"
