Hadith 940:32
Zayd ibn Yahya al-Dimashqi narrated to us, Khalid ibn Sabih al-Murri, the judge of al-Balqa, narrated to us, Isma'il ibn 'Ubayd Allah narrated to us, that he heard Umm al-Darda' narrating from Abu al-Darda', who said: I heard the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, say: "Allah has determined for every servant five things: his lifespan, his provision, his footsteps (where he will walk), his deeds, and whether he will be wretched or happy."
حدثنا زيد بن يحيى الدمشقي، حدثنا خالد بن صبيح المري، قاضي البلقاء، حدثنا إسماعيل بن عبيد الله، أنه سمع أم الدرداء، تحدث عن أبي الدرداء، قال: سمعت رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم يقول: " فرغ الله إلى كل عبد من خمس: من أجله ورزقه وأثره وشقي أم سعيد "
