Hadith 940:38
Makki ibn Ibrahim narrated to us, Abdullah ibn Sa’id narrated to us, from Harb ibn Qays, from Abu al-Darda’, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Whoever performs ghusl on the day of Jumu'ah, then puts on his clothes, and touches perfume if he has any, then walks to the Jumu'ah with tranquility upon him, and does not step over anyone, and does not harm anyone, and performs the rak'ahs that were decreed for him, then waits until the Imam finishes, his sins between the two Jumu'ahs will be forgiven." Makki narrated to us, Abdullah ibn Sa’id narrated to us, from Harb ibn Qays, from Abu al-Darda’, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) sat one day on the minbar and addressed the people, and he recited a verse. Ubayy ibn Ka'b was at my side, so I said to him: "O Ubayy, when was this verse revealed?" He refused to speak to me. Then I asked him, and he refused to speak to me, until the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) descended. Then Ubayy said to me: "You have nothing from your Jumu'ah except what you spoke in vain (laghayta)." When the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) finished, I came to him and informed him. I said: "O Messenger of Allah, you recited a verse and Ubayy ibn Ka'b was at my side, so I asked him when this verse was revealed, and he refused to speak to me, until when you descended, Ubayy claimed that I have nothing from my Jumu'ah except what I spoke in vain?" He said: "Ubayy spoke the truth. So if you hear your Imam speaking, then listen silently until he finishes."
حدثنا مكي بن إبراهيم، حدثنا عبد الله بن سعيد، عن حرب بن قيس، عن أبي الدرداء، قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: " من اغتسل يوم الجمعة، ثم لبس ثيابه، ومس طيبا إن كان عنده، ثم مشى إلى الجمعة وعليه السكينة، ولم يتخط أحدا، ولم يؤذه، وركع ما قضي له، ثم انتظر حتى ينصرف الإمام، غفر له ما بين الجمعتين" 21730 - حدثنا مكي، حدثنا عبد الله بن سعيد، عن حرب بن قيس، عن أبي الدرداء، قال: جلس رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم يوما على المنبر، فخطب الناس، وتلا آية وإلى جنبي أبي بن كعب، فقلت له: يا أبي، متى أنزلت هذه الآية؟ قال: فأبى أن يكلمني، ثم سألته فأبى أن يكلمني، حتى نزل رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم، فقال لي أبي: ما لك من جمعتك إلا ما لغيت. فلما انصرف رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم جئته فأخبرته، فقلت: أي رسول الله، إنك تلوت آية وإلى جنبي أبي بن كعب، فسألته متى أنزلت هذه الآية؟ فأبى أن يكلمني حتى إذا نزلت زعم أبي أنه ليس لي من جمعتي إلا ما لغيت؟ فقال: " صدق أبي فإذا سمعت إمامك يتكلم فأنصت حتى يفرغ "
