Hadith 940:44
Hassan narrated to us, Ibn Lahi'ah narrated to us, Zabban narrated to us, from Sahl ibn Mu'adh, from his father, from Abu al-Darda': That he (the father of Sahl) came to him visiting him. Abu al-Darda' said to my father after he greeted him: "In health, not in pain," saying that three times. Then he said: I heard the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, saying: "The Muslim person continues to be afflicted by fever and headache, and he has sins upon him greater than Uhud, until it leaves him, and there is not upon him any sin the weight of a mustard seed."
حدثنا حسن، حدثنا ابن لهيعة، حدثنا زبان ، عن سهل بن معاذ، عن أبيه، عن أبي الدرداء: أنه أتاه عائدا، فقال أبو الدرداء لأبي بعد أن سلم عليه: بالصحة لا بالوجع، ثلاث مرات يقول ذلك، ثم قال: سمعت رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم يقول: " ما يزال المرء المسلم به المليلة والصداع، وإن عليه من الخطايا لأعظم من أحد حتى يتركه، وما عليه من الخطايا مثقال حبة من خردل "
