Hadith 940:48
Qutaybah ibn Sa'id narrated to us, Ibn Lahi'ah narrated to us, from Yazid ibn Abi Habib, from 'Abd al-Rahman ibn Jubayr, that he heard from Abu Dharr and Abu al-Darda' that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Verily, I will recognize my nation on the Day of Resurrection from among the nations." They said: "O Prophet of Allah, and how will you recognize your nation?" He said: "I will recognize them by them being given their records in their right hands, and I will recognize them by their mark on their faces from the trace of prostration, and I will recognize them by their light running before them."
حدثنا قتيبة بن سعيد، حدثنا ابن لهيعة، عن يزيد بن أبي حبيب، عن عبد الرحمن بن جبير، أنه سمع من أبي ذر، وأبي الدرداء، أن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: " إني لأعرف أمتي يوم القيامة من بين الأمم " قالوا: يا نبي الله، وكيف تعرف أمتك؟ قال: " أعرفهم يؤتون كتبهم بأيمانهم، وأعرفهم بسيماهم في وجوههم من أثر السجود، وأعرفهم بنورهم يسعى بين أيديهم "
