Hadith 940:49
Abu al-Mughirah narrated to us, Abu Bakr ibn Abdullah ibn Abi Maryam al-Ghassani narrated to us, Abu al-Ahwas Hakim ibn Umayr and Habib ibn Ubayd narrated to us, from Abu al-Darda’, that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Let not a man among you fail to perform a thousand good deeds for Allah. When he wakes up in the morning, he says: 'Subhan Allah wa bi-hamdihi' (Glory be to Allah and by His praise) one hundred times. For it is a thousand good deeds. For he will not perform, if Allah wills, the like of that in sins during the day, and whatever good deeds he performs besides that will be in abundance."
حدثنا أبو المغيرة، حدثنا أبو بكر بن عبد الله بن أبي مريم الغساني، حدثنا أبو الأحوص حكيم بن عمير، وحبيب بن عبيد، عن أبي الدرداء، أن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: " لا يدع رجل منكم أن يعمل لله ألف حسنة، حين يصبح يقول: سبحان الله وبحمده مائة مرة، فإنه ألف حسنة، فإنه لن يعمل إن شاء الله مثل ذلك في يوم من الذنوب، ويكون ما عمل من خير سوى ذلك وافرا "
