Musnad Ahmad 937:12

Mu'ammal narrated to us, Hammad—meaning Ibn Salamah—narrated to us, Yunus narrated to us, from Ibrahim al-Taymi, from his father, from Abu Dharr, that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "The sun sets beneath the Throne, then permission is granted to it, so it returns. When that night comes, the morning of which it will rise from the west, it will not be granted permission. Then, when it becomes morning, it will be said to it: 'Rise from your place.'" Then he recited: {Do they wait until the angels come to them, or your Lord comes, or some of the signs of your Lord come?} [Al-An'am: 158].
