Musnad Ahmad 937:124

Yahya ibn Sa’id narrated to us, from Qurrah, [who said]: Al-Hasan narrated to us, [and] Sa’sa’ah ibn Mu’awiyah narrated to me, saying: I arrived at Al-Rabadhah, and there I was with Abu Dharr, who had met me with mounts that he had brought to water and then led away, and he had hung a water skin on the neck of one of the camels for him to drink and to give his companions to drink, and it was one of the customs of the Arabs. I said: "O Abu Dharr, what is the matter with you?" He said: "I have my work." I said: "Tell me, O Abu Dharr, what did you hear the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, say?" He said: "I heard the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, say: 'Whoever spends a pair of his wealth, the gatekeepers of Paradise will hasten to him.'" We said: "What are these two?" He said: "If they are men, then two men; if they are horses, then two horses; and if they are camels, then two camels," until he counted all the types of wealth. I said: "O Abu Dharr, tell me, what did you hear the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, say?" He said: "I heard the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, say: 'There are no two Muslims who have three children die before they reach the age of puberty, but Allah will enter them into Paradise by the grace of His mercy toward the children.'"
