Musnad Ahmad 937:131

'Abd al-Rahman and 'Abd al-Samad—the meaning being the same—said: Hammam narrated to us, from Qatadah; 'Abd al-Samad said: Qatadah narrated to us, from Abu Qilabah, from Abu Asma'—and 'Abd al-Samad said: al-Rahbi—from Abu Dharr, from the Prophet, peace be upon him, in what he narrates from his Lord, Exalted and Majestic is He: "Indeed, I have forbidden injustice for Myself, and for My servants, so do not commit injustice against one another. All the children of Adam err by night and by day, then they seek My forgiveness, and I forgive them, and I do not care." And He said: "O children of Adam, all of you were astray except those whom I guided, and all of you were naked except those whom I clothed, and all of you were hungry except those whom I fed, and all of you were thirsty except those whom I gave to drink. So seek guidance from Me and I will guide you, and seek clothing from Me and I will clothe you, and seek food from Me and I will feed you, and seek drink from Me and I will give you to drink." "O My servants, if the first of you and the last of you, your jinn and your humans, your young and your old, your males and your females—'Abd al-Samad said: and your living and your dead—were upon the heart of the most righteous man among you, you would not add anything to My kingdom. And if the first of you and the last of you, your jinn and your humans, your young and your old, your males and your females were upon the heart of the most disbelieving man among you, you would not decrease anything from My kingdom, except as the head of a needle decreases the sea."
