Musnad Ahmad 937:160

'Abd al-Razzaq narrated to us, Ma'mar informed us, from al-Zuhri, from Habib, the freed slave of 'Urwah ibn al-Zubayr, from 'Urwah, from Abu Murawah al-Ghifari, from Abu Dharr, who said: A man came to the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, and asked him, saying: "O Messenger of Allah, which deeds are best?" He said: "Faith in Allah and Jihad in the way of Allah." He said: "Which emancipation is best?" He said: "The most valuable of them." He said: "What if I do not find [one]?" He said: "Then you assist a craftsman, or you work for one who is clumsy." He said: "What if I am not able?" He said: "Then leave the people from your evil, for it is a charity you bestow upon yourself."
