Musnad Ahmad 937:162

'Abd al-Razzaq narrated to us, Sufyan narrated to us, from al-Mughirah ibn al-Nu'man, 'Abdullah ibn Yazid ibn al-Aqna' al-Bahili narrated to us, al-Ahnaf ibn Qays narrated to us, he said: I was in Medina, and suddenly I was with a man from whom people would flee when they saw him. He said: I said, "Who are you?" He said, "I am Abu Dharr, the companion of the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace." He said: I said, "Why do the people flee?" He said, "I forbid them from hoarding treasures, with that which the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, used to forbid them."
