Musnad Ahmad 937:165

'Abd al-Razzaq narrated to us, Ma'mar narrated to us, from Sa'id al-Jurayri, from Abu al-'Ala' ibn 'Abd Allah ibn al-Shikhkhir, from Nu'aym ibn Qa'nab, who said: I went out to al-Rabadhah, and there was Abu Dharr. He had spoken to his wife about something, and it was as if she had retorted to him, and he returned [to the subject] and she returned [the retort]. He said: "You do not add anything to what the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said: 'The woman is like a rib; if you straighten it, it breaks, and in it is a sufficiency and a crookedness.'"
