Musnad Ahmad 937:177

'Abd al-Samad narrated to us, my father narrated to me, Husayn narrated to us, from Ibn Buraydah, that Yahya ibn Ya'mar narrated to him, that Abu al-Aswad al-Du'ali narrated to him, that Abu Dharr said: I came to the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, and he was wearing a white garment, and he was asleep. Then I came to him and he was asleep. Then I came to him and he had awakened, so I sat with him. He said: "There is no servant who says: 'There is no god but Allah,' then dies upon that, except that he will enter Paradise." I said: "Even if he committed adultery and even if he stole?" He said: "Even if he committed adultery and even if he stole." I said: "Even if he committed adultery and even if he stole?" He said: "Even if he committed adultery and even if he stole," three times. Then he said on the fourth: "Despite the nose of Abu Dharr." Abu Dharr went out dragging his lower garment, saying: "Even if the nose of Abu Dharr is rubbed in the dust." He said: Abu Dharr used to narrate this afterwards and say: "Even if the nose of Abu Dharr is rubbed in the dust."
