Musnad Ahmad 937:191

Muhammad ibn Ja‘far narrated to us, Shu‘bah narrated to us, from a man from Thaqif who is called Fulan ibn ‘Abd al-Wahid, he said: I heard Abu Mujib, he said: Abu Dharr met Abu Hurayrah, and he [the narrator] made it appear—I think he said—the pommel of his sword was silver, so he forbade him [from it]. And Abu Dharr said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said: "There is no human—or he said: no one—who leaves behind yellow [gold] or white [silver] except that he will be branded with it."
