Musnad Ahmad 937:213

Makki ibn Ibrahim narrated to us, Ubaydullah ibn Abi Ziyad narrated to us, from Shahr ibn Hawshab, from a cousin of Abu Dharr, from Abu Dharr, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Whoever drinks wine, Allah will not accept his prayer for forty nights. If he repents, Allah will accept his repentance. If he returns to it, it is the same. I do not know if it was the third or the fourth time that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: If he returns to it, it is incumbent upon Allah to give him to drink from *tinat al-khabal*." They said: "O Messenger of Allah, and what is *tinat al-khabal*?" He said: "The discharge of the people of the Fire."
