Musnad Ahmad 937:257

Waki’ narrated to us, from Sufyan, Yazid—meaning Ibn Abi Ziyad—narrated to us, from Zayd ibn Wahb, from Abu Dharr, who said: A man came to the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, and said: "O Messenger of Allah, has the hyena (famine/hardship) consumed us?" He said: "Other than that is more fearful to me for you than that: that the world be poured upon you in abundance. So, I wish that my nation would not wear gold."
