Musnad Ahmad 937:72

Abu Mu'awiyah narrated to us, Al-A'mash narrated to us, from Al-Ma'rur ibn Suwayd, from Abu Dharr, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Allah, the Almighty and Majestic, says: 'Whoever performs a good deed, for him is ten times its like or more. And whoever performs an evil deed, its recompense is its like or I forgive. And whoever commits sins [filling] the near-equivalent of the earth, then meets Me not associating anything with Me, I will grant him the equivalent of it in forgiveness. And whoever draws near to Me by a span, I draw near to him by a cubit. And whoever draws near to Me by a cubit, I draw near to him by a fathom. And whoever comes to Me walking, I come to him at a run.'"
