Musnad Ahmad 937:92

Bahz narrated to us, Hammad narrated to us, Abu Imran al-Jawni narrated to us, from Abdullah ibn al-Samit, from Abu Dharr, that he said: "O Messenger of Allah, a man does a deed, and people praise him for it and commend him for it?" The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "That is the immediate glad tiding of the believer."
