Bahz narrated to us, Hammad ibn Salamah narrated to us, Abu Imran informed us, from Abdullah ibn al-Samit, from Abu Dharr, who said: "The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, advised me: 'If you cook a pot, increase its broth, for it is more expansive for the neighbors.'" *** Ali ibn Abdullah narrated to us, Mu'tamir ibn Sulayman narrated to us, he said: I heard Dawud ibn Abi Hind, from Abu Harb ibn Abi al-Aswad al-Dili, from his uncle, from Abu Dharr, who said: The Prophet of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, came to me while I was sleeping in the Mosque of Medina, and he struck me with his foot and said: "Do I not see you sleeping in it?" I said: "O Prophet of Allah, my eyes overcame me." He said: "What will you do when you are driven out of it?" I said: "I will go to al-Sham, the holy, blessed land." He said: "What will you do when you are driven out of al-Sham?" I said: "I will return to it." He said: "What will you do when you are driven out of it?" I said: "What shall I do, O Prophet of Allah? Shall I strike with my sword?" The Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said: "Shall I not guide you to that which is better for you than that and closer to right guidance? You listen and obey, and you be driven along with them wherever they drive you."
