Hadith 669:17
'Abd al-Razzaq narrated to us, Sufyan informed us, from 'Awn ibn Abi Juhayfah, from his father, who said: I saw Bilal giving the adhan and turning around, and I was following his mouth here and there, and his two fingers were in his ears. He said: "And the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, was in a red tent of his, I think it was made of tanned leather." He said: So Bilal went out before him with the 'anzah (a short spear) and planted it, "and the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, prayed." 'Abd al-Razzaq said: And I heard him in Makkah say: In al-Batha', while a dog, a woman, and a donkey were passing in front of him, and he was wearing a red garment. It is as if I am looking at the brightness of his shins. Sufyan said: "We consider it to be a Hibarah (a type of striped garment)."
. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
